Aside from the usual vitamins and nutritional supplements, it is advised by some nutritionist that overweight individuals need to take in eight glasses of water a day plus an additional 8-ounce glass for every ten pounds overweight. Morbidly obese adults are exempt from this rule due to their excess amount of weight. This is because too much water intake is not good for anyone, though overweight individuals still need to drink more water than the average adult.
An increased water intake and the right doses of vitamins and nutritional supplements needs to be taken by those with regular workout or exercise schedules to ensure the optimum quality of their daily regimen.
